Mr. Steven Parkhurst, CIH, LIH, CSP, CIEC, CFSC, CETC, LMA has over 45 years’ experience studying the effects of contaminated air in variety of work, office, medical, and residential environments. He is one of 35 individuals worldwide holding the prestigious Certified Fire & Smoke Damage Consultant (CFSC) designation accompanied by 15 years’ experience in structural, spray polyfoam, protein and wildfires. We develop fire and smoke damage remediation protocols that also eliminate smoke odors.
At Advanced Building Forensics (ABF), we provide more than mold inspections. We specialize in environmental forensics and air quality studies for commercial, industrial, hospital, and government facilities. Spear-headed by a Certified Industrial Hygienist, and using AIHA and ISO accredited laboratories, we've gained a nationwide reputation for excellence. We utilize state-of-the-art methods and procedures like infrared thermography, DNA (ERMI) testing for mold and bacterial pathogens, mycotoxin testing, and volatile organic compound testing for smoke, building material off-gassing and microbials.
